| Abstract | This entry contains the phosphatidylinositol transfer protein, Sec14p, which catalyses the exchange of phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine between membrane bilayers in vitro [ 9461221]. Other related proteins include the retinaldehyde/retinal-binding proteins, which are functional components of the visual cycle, guanine nucleotide exchange factor, and alpha-tocopherol transfer protein, which enhances the transfer of ligand between separate membranes, as well as several hypothetical proteins. |
