dcGO Predictor Results
(show help)
The dcGO Predictor (Batch Query) produces results that are ready to:
- 1) give a summary of the prediction content by counting the number/percentage of sequences annotated by ontological terms of four levels (i.e., slim version);
- 2) explore prediction details for each of input sequences;
- 3) download predictions for both slim verion and full version.
Notes: In the dcGO, each ontology has a slim version on its own, containing ontological terms at four levels of increasing granularity (that is, being highly general, general, specific, and highly specific). In addition to those restricted by the term specificity, i.e., Export predictions (slim version), the full list of predictions are also provided for the download, i.e., Export predictions (full version). The tab 'Explore predictions' supports for looking at details for each of input sequences, wherein the logo is clickable (redirect to the page with sequence-specific predictions).
Gene Ontology (GO)None of sequences in query are predictable!
- dcGO Predictor requires the significant assignments by known domains using SUPERFAMILY hidden Markov models. We expect the coverage of sequences that are predictable will improve as new structures are resolved experimentally and deposited in the Protein Data Bank.
- dcGO Predictor relies on the domain-centric annotations for transferring ontological terms to the sequences in query. Therefore, the sequences in query should contain one or more residential domains/supra-domains that are annotatable by the ontology of interest.
